The Ten Commandments

“You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. (ESV)

Call to Worship

Psalm 105:1–6

[1] Oh give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples!
[2] Sing to him, sing praises to him;
tell of all his wondrous works!
[3] Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice!
[4] Seek the LORD and his strength;
seek his presence continually!
[5] Remember the wondrous works that he has done,
his miracles, and the judgments he uttered,
[6] O offspring of Abraham, his servant,
children of Jacob, his chosen ones! (ESV)

Prayer of Repentance

Heavenly Father, We have not honored You with all areas of our life. Forgive us. By Your Spirit, equip us to bear fruit that we might become more like Jesus. Give us the grace to love what You love and hate what You hate. Empower us to walk in the good works You have prepared for us. You have called us to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. By faith we trust You will accomplish the great work You have started in us. Amen

Benediction

May you be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord fully pleasing to Hi in all respects.May you bear fruit in every good work and increase in the knowledge of God.May the Lord strengthen you with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.In Jesus name, Amen!
