Call to Worship
Psalm 108:1-4
My heart is steadfast, O God!
I will sing and make melody with all my being!
Awake, O harp and lyre!
I will awake the dawn!
I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations.
For your steadfast love is great above the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Prayer of Repentance
Father God, it is easy for us to harbor anger, bitterness, and pride in our hearts. Expose to us what is not pleasing in your sight. Forgive us for these sins and bring healing where our sin has brought pain. Create in us a forgiving heart towards others as Jesus has forgiven us. We thank you for the victory over all our sin. For in Christ, the power of sin has been broken in our lives. Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil. We pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen
Benediction
May the Lord bless you and give you the courage not to walk in the counsel of the wicked;the faith not to stand in the way of sinners;and the resolve not to sit in the seat of scoffers.May your delight be in the law of the LORD that you might meditate on it day and night.May you be like a tree planted by streams of water, that yield its fruit in season and its leaf does not wither.In Jesus' name we pray. Amen!
