Good news...for all the people

One of our favorite Advent traditions at Coram Deo Church is that we invite people from within our body to read the sermon text at our Lord’s Day worship services. And not only in English, but in other languages!

Scripture tells us that when the angels delivered the good news of Christ’s birth to the shepherds, they told them that his birth was “good news of great joy that will be for all the people.” Within our church, we have a number of different “nations, tribes, and peoples” represented and hearing them read the scripture in their respective languages reminds us that the Gospel is indeed good news for all the people.
