Reformation Yesterday and Today -- Reformation Celebration 2024 -- Dr. Vishal Mangalwadi

At our 2024 Reformation Celebration, Dr. Mangalwadi opened his lecture with the question: “Can America be reformed?” In his lecture, he diagnosed modern American evangelicalism’s failure to inculcate a vision of discipleship that goes beyond saving souls. According to Dr. Mangalwadi, the church worked to  save souls but lost the nation. He then drew our attention to the lessons from the a Reformation for how the church in America can recover its hopeful and comprehensive mission.

At our 2024 Reformation Celebration, Dr. Sunshine opened his lecture with the question: “What do you do when the world falls apart?” To answer that question Dr. Sunshine looked back to the lessons of the Reformation to uncover how Christians can be building community now in a time of Crisis.
