Matthew 28:18–20

[18] And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (ESV)

Acts 2:36–38

[36] Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.” [37] Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” [38] And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (ESV)

Romans 6:3–5

[3] Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? [4] We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.[5] For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. (ESV)

Call to Worship

Psalm 115:9–11

[9] O Israel, trust in the LORD!
He is their help and their shield.
[10] O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD!
He is their help and their shield.
[11] You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD!
He is their help and their shield. (ESV)

Prayer of Repentance

Oh Lord, You have made clear to us what You desire of us through Your word. We have not honored You with all our life as You deserve. Forgive us our sins. By Your grace, renew our minds, that we may discern your will, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
We pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen

Benediction

May the LORD deal bountifully with you all the days of your life. And may you always trust in the steadfast love of the Lord, Rejoice in His salvation, And sing His praises. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
