On Sunday, October 9, we gathered for our Fall Family Meeting. We enjoyed a spaghetti feast and praised God for the great things that he has been preparing for Coram Deo Church. In case you missed it, you can either watch the video above or read on to learn about what we shared at the meeting:
- Stained Glass Window Project: Pastor Ryan revealed a stained glass window design that will be installed in our sanctuary. The stained glass was designed around different aspects of the gospel and the art renderings are beautiful!
- Coram Deo Academy: Pastor Kim and Pastor Rusten provided an update on the development of Coram Deo Academy. An informational meeting will be held on Friday, November 11 to learn more about what’s next with Coram Deo Academy.
- Fall Festival: Pastor Jon shared about the Fall Festival which we are hosting this Friday, October 21. For many years we have hosted an event for our community and invited the congregation to participate and serve with this exciting opportunity.
- Sunday Offering: Effective yesterday, Sunday, October 16, the collection of tithes and offerings has been added back as a part of our Sunday liturgy.
- Advent Season: As we prepare for advent season, we will be offering Christmas Eve Candlelight services at 2, 3, 4, and 5 PM on Saturday, December 24. We will also be gathering for Lord’s Day worship on Christmas Day at 9:30 and 11 AM.
- Season of Prayer and Fasting: Pastor Jon invited the church to participate in a season of prayer and fasting. Beginning this past Thursday and continuing until we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving Eve, the fast will happen weekly. We will start fasting after dinner on Wednesdays and the fast will break with dinner on Thursdays. We will be praying to the Lord for conversion and salvation to come to people of Kitsap county through the preaching of the Word. We will also be praying for wisdom and provision for our facility needs. The last time we entered into a season of prayer and fasting, the Lord provided us an opportunity to lease neighboring property for our Youth Community and office spaces. We now have an opportunity presented to us to purchase all the buildings in our complex and will be praying for the Lord’s wisdom and provision for these buildings as we pursue the vision for Coram Deo Church.
We look forward to the good things God has in store for His people. Please join us in continuing to pray for His glory to be made known in Kitsap County!
