In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.
Genesis 1:1, 27, & 31 (ESV)
We live in a breathtakingly beautiful place. You can’t drive two miles without seeing the snow-capped Olympic mountains, the Puget Sound, or lush green trees. Everywhere we look, beauty abounds. But where did all of this come from?
What do you assume when you see a beautiful farmhouse or a fully restored hotrod? What about a piece of art created by a local artist? Is it possible that those things just accidentally appeared out of nothing, for no reason, without purpose or design? Probably not.
You probably assume that somebody with great skill and passion created or built those things. Nobody needs to tell you that. You know it intuitively. To deny it would be insanity.
Beautiful design requires a beautiful designer. That is as true of the farmhouse, the classic hotrod, the local work of art, and that delicious pint as it is of the mountains, the trees, the Puget Sound, and you.
