Exodus 20:16

“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor."

Call to Worship

Psalm 111:7–10

The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy;
they are established forever and ever,
to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness.
He sent redemption to his people;
he has commanded his covenant forever.
Holy and awesome is his name!
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever!

Prayer of Repentance

Heavenly Father, You have given us Your Son that we might know and love you. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. We confess that we have not lived in light of Your truth with how we treat others and use our words. Forgive us our sins. May we have the courage to love what is true and speak what is true. May our words bring healing and hope to those around us. May our words honor You and display Your glory. We pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen

Benediction

May the LORD bless you and give you the courage not to walk in the counsel of the wicked;The faith not to stand in the way of sinners;And the resolve not to sit in the seat of scoffers.May your delight be in the law of the LORD that you may meditate on it day and night.May you be like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in season and its leaf does not wither.May the LORD prosper all that you do for His glory, and watch over your way so that you will stand in the judgment and join the congregation of the righteous forever.In Jesus' name we pray. Amen!
